Life, life

If there's something on your mind that just doesn't seem to fall into any of the other categories, well, it quite likely belongs inside Joe Finneman's marketplace. Think of it as a general store for general discussions!

I had my suspicions with all the calves talk. ;) So I thought I'd just come out and ask...and I was right! Ha!

I would have told earlier but he wanted to see how long it took people to figure it out.

Experience next year :- Common sense and advice from my friend,I'll put it this way, if you haven't taken an AP test before, you study super hard in whatever subjects you're taking the test in, but what I've seen you shoulden't take too many class so you don't make your head hurt trying to remeber all the information. (especialy Ap US and Euro :anxious: ) But in the end it's your choice.

Today I mowed the yard. Normally a routine and enjoyable task...however, whatever grasses/trees I am allergic to are now out in full force. So now, after a few hours on the mower and raking the grass clippings, my eyes are so itchy and swollen! Observe:

And if you don't remember, these are my normal eyes:

I wish my school offered more AP classes. Mine only offered AP calculus. I loved that calculus class so much. And all the rest of my classes were so easy I could have used a challenge.
Don't not do something because people say it's hard. From my experience you can do well in any classes you are determined to do well in. Everyone told me organic chemistry was going to be brutal my first year of college but I decided to prove them wrong and worked hard to get an A. I think that it's good to set high goals for yourself.

Ouch! No fun Laura :(

I've been insanely busy this week, after a huge weekend, tonight was the primaries for our state senate, and a good friend of our family, (and great candidate for the postiton) is running. So ive been helping them campaign for the last two days. Fun, but exhausting! Voting closed an hour ago, so we'll hopefully be hearing the results soon!

We've done this in past years, exhausting, but so worth it. :D

Poor Laura. :( I hope they stop bothering you soon. Is now a bad time to say you have pretty eyes? ;)

We finally sign all the paperwork and close on our new house a week from today. \:D/ Although the people living there won't be out for like a week and a half after that. But hey I can just hire the brute squad to get them out. \:D/

LOL man I need to watch that again.

In other news I got a problem at work figured out that has stumped everyone for most of the school year... so things will work correctly for the last 2.5 weeks of school. \:D/ Better late than never, we were just going to have to buy new equipment over the summer because we thought it dead.

We now have a pigpen on my family's farm (and I don't mean my room). It only took me about an hour to put it up, made of large wire panels and a gate. After a short mishap (which concluded with an escaped pig being placed into the pen), all the pigs were safely in the pen and searching for food. That's about the extent of my day so far.

He won! I'm very happy, but this means that we still have to campaign for the actual election. At least that's not until November.

Shennifer wrote:I went to the Ranch again today, officially helping with stuff. I didn't do a whole lot, just observed since I got there late. And the reason I was late was because I was dealing with being in a minor car accident. No one was hurt, but it was my fault; I hit someone's pickup as they drove past me, with me waiting to drive onto the side street. It was a bit scary, and I was kinda shaky; that's never happened to me before (mind you, I've run into fences, etc. but not another car). Anyway, her pickup was side swiped and the passenger door dented. My red car left a nice smudge on the lower door. I didn't have my cell phone (my mistake I'll never make again), but it got sorted out and turned out rather nicely; her and her friend who came to help were actually nice as we hung out a bit.

So that's my story of today; then I went to the Ranch finally and met more Doctor Who fans; I'm glad i wore that shirt today, along with a cowgirl hat, so I immediately thought of season 6, where Matt Smith wear's a similar hat. \:D/
I'm glad no one was hurt! Fences...? :anxious:
Heh yeah...about 2 years ago, i was driving home from a youth group pool party and I got my cell phone out to call home and say I would be there soon, but I spent too long looking at the screen scrolling through my contacts to pay attention. I hit a fence post, actually, and disconnected the steering column from the wheel and dented around it. It scared me, but I was okay and it got fixed. (what makes it a rather....hard memory is that it happened very close to the house I had just left, which is where I had seen the boy that I thought liked me and we were kinda together, but then abruptly broke up. That was painful.)
