Imo, the new ones were actually more accurate. I don't really remember the old ones, but wasn't Watson like super old and Holmes was like a weakling? According to the books, they're both pretty young, and Holmes is an expert in boxing and martial-arts.
Jeremy Brett and Edward Hardwicke = best Sherlock/Watson duo ever. :noway: And there's several episodes displaying Sherlock's boxing skills. My family imitates him boxing sometimes, too. \:D/

I watched The Emperor's New Groove with my brother tonight. I haven't seen that movie in ages, and it was tons of fun. \:D/ I had totally forgotten the opening and a few of the other details. Kronk is the best.

Love Emperor's New Groove.

Recently saw 2 movies at the theatre: Chronicle and Safe House.

Chronicle was an amazing movie. From the story progression to the characters, to the actors performance. It was all amazing. Except for the CGI effects, but for a 12 million budget movie its still darn passable.

Safe House :(A rated R movie) starred my favorite actor Denzel Washinton. To bad the trailer made this movie look better than the actual movie. I was looking more into his psychological smart talks, but his character was never truly explored and the movie turned into your typical action movie with a very weak plot twist.

The real Sherlock holmes used fisticuffs, not this high-end martial art stuff the kids like these days. :x

the last episode of North & South; it was really good, though I kinda wish there had been more episodes to expand on a few things. It had a sweet ending \:D/

I got The Princess and the Frog from the library the other day, so my siblings and I have watched it a few times.

She left many of us behind. She left us heartbroken. And though we cry now there'll come a time when we'll laugh. Because we'll see her again someday. We'll be with her in heaven. I'm rewatching The Young Victoria right now. It's such a cute movie, I'd forgotten how much I loved it! Albert is adorable, and Emily Blunt was a wonderful Victoria.

The last movie I watched was Soul Surfer. I could not view Carrie Underwood as more than a country music singer... It was alright.

Just watched Ballet Shoes for the first time. I LOVE the novel, and I actually enjoyed the film more than i thought I would. Unlike a lot of adaptations, it kept the film pretty close to the book. Five star movie!

The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. Wonderful movie and Hal Smith was the voice of Owl too.
