If I knew the answer to that question, I would be a whole lot richer! ;) Whenever we're in contact with human beings, there are bound to be problems, and some people are harder to get along with than others. Now that you're more familiar with this person, maybe next time you can convince them to tell you what they really mean, not what they first tell you. But I make no promises. ;) And if you're trying to do what you think should be done, then any blame somebody else tries to place on you isn't yours to take. The more we can rely on God for our self-worth and let him take care of offenses against us, the more we can let go of these kinds of things and have that much less to worry about!

...Okay, so that kind of took off on a tangent. :anxious: But it's something that I've been thinking about and trying to improve in the last few months, so I guess it came to mind! I hope that helps. :)

Thoughts on your new set? Despise it, love it, what?

Hate to say this, but I almost start laughing every time I read one of your posts now!

ETA: What can we actually DO with our shop items, the books for instance? Are they just for fun, or can you use them?

That's a tough one. :( People have flaws...as I'm sure you've noticed! ;) Even they might not know why they did something like that, or it could be based on something silly that they'll later realize was lame. Friends let us down, and even family can at times. I know this is easier said than done, but it could help to be thankful that God isn't like us humans and will never leave us or forsake us, even if our so-called friends make bad decisions and treat us badly. I hope things improve for you! :)

I like it because it's so goofy and fun, though I'm glad that I only have to wear it for a few days. ;) I'm glad that it makes you laugh! That's the whole point, right? And it is pretty funny!

The shop items are just for fun - you can't actually read the books etc. :( But they're still pretty cool!

Thanks Catspaw! I will always remember that. And, now for a more technical question:

How do you make sigs and avys?

-- Sat May 01, 2010 8:35 pm --

And, why isn't my name on the list of people who have birthdays in the next 14 days? Mines May 6. :(

I wish I knew! ;) I have lots of great sigs and avatars that I like, but I haven't made a single one of them! You might want to ask somebody with a shop in Crestwood for some tips, or somebody else that you know makes sigs. :)

Looking at your profile on the admin panel, it looks like you made the same mistake as the last person to ask me that question - you said you were born on the 5th day of the 6th month instead of the other way around. :) I fixed it, so it's showing up now!

We all make mistakes, and the birthday one seems to be an easy one to make! It's all good. :D

Catspaw, what algorithm do you use to determine the fee for each election? \:D/ (Besides looking at the toal amount of money floating about.)

I don't know exactly why, but I know there's a glitch that doesn't let you post in global announcements when accessing them from certain forums. :-k Try just clicking the link in the Global Announcement box.

I would tell you, but then I would have to ban you for life and accidentally delete your account. :( So the choice is yours! \:D/

Sometimes people start a goofy campaign thread and people have some fun with it, but it would be wrong to present yourself seriously, take donations, and then say you were just kidding about it...it depends what exactly you mean by "joke," I guess.

Catspaw, you make me laugh... lol.

Who do you want to be admin next term? (While there are no teams running at the moment... so, no biasism)

But wouldn't that be redundant? :(
