The ToO wasn't a disappointment for me - it was an even cooler surprise than I could ever have even hoped for! I still love it months later!SivartM wrote:What a disappointment, huh?Me wrote: It turned out to be this.
How did you find out about the ToO?

One day, a little boy named SivartM was told by a friend named J-man about a magical city where ice cream could talk and jump ropes could walk. Siv decided to explore this wonderful place J-man had told him about. He joined a forum that was supposedly the key to finding this wonderful land. But after exploring the forum for a while, Siv discovered that the forum was just an ordinary AIO forum with no talking ice cream or walking jump ropes. He was angry at J-man but soon decided that these wierd crazy people were just as good as talking ice cream. Maybe everyone there WAS talking ice cream! So he spent the rest of his life staring at a computer screen instead of doing useful and helpful things and got hit by a semi truck because he was looking at a computer store across the street and didn't look both ways.
THE END
THE END
I must agree with that as well! I thought that it might just be an April Fool's joke, or maybe something not so spectacular. This turned out to be total awesomeness!J-man wrote:same here!Alice wrote:The ToO wasn't a disappointment for me - it was an even cooler surprise than I could ever have even hoped for! How could you regret it? This place is great! Though it's probably better if you're only hooked, and not totally addicted like some of us.Trillspots wrote:*sigh* No comment.Andrea Meltsner wrote:I hope you still don't regret it dear.Trillspots wrote:He pestered and pestered and pestered until I did. I don't regret it at all though!
The only thing that I regret is that I don't have more time to spend here!

I too was one of the beta testers. To be honest, when Shadowpaw gave me the link to the first test forum we had, I wasn't thrilled, but I am sure glad I went with it.The Top Crusader wrote:I forget exactly how far in advance, but Shadowpaw had mentioned to me that he was going to launch it quite a bit in advance, and I was priviledged to be one of the beta testers for like a month before it opened!
Ah, the good old days of posting Final Fantasy VII guides to rack up money...
