Show me the verse, or show me the photo.
How do you feel about Nazarites?
Yep, that's what I thought
Jesus was not a Nazarite.

He was a Naza
rene - which means he was from the town of Nazareth. (Matthew 2:23)
Haha, yeah, I was going to say that, as well. Nice job showing your knowledge of the Bible, xiao. It doesn't say so in the Bible, but I believe that most movies set in that time are based off research about the culture and lifestyle of Biblical times, and long hair for guys seems to have been a societal norm. Is it a societal norm in modern America? No, and I think that guys with very long hair, greasy ponytails, etc. are pretty disgusting, personally (and yes, I think Jess Harnell is great, so don't drag him into this).
Lol. Not to veer slightly off topic or anything, but I think the issue of main importance is that said male still looks.. well.. manly

. As long as they still look like a guy, and you don't have to wonder whether they're a Pat or Patty, a little longer-ish hair is fine by me

.
Although I must admit that one length, long, silky hair on a guy is pretty feminine and nasty

. If you're going to have it long, guys- have it only a LITTLE longer, shaggy, and in multiple dif. layers.
EDIT:
Josef1004 wrote:why do you think it only goes for girls? Do you cover your facial blemishes with make-up and use eyeliner to enhance the beautiful colour of your eyes? Isn't it true that God appreciates beauty and you should make an effort to look your best?
I think guys don't worry as much about their appearance because they're men, and like I said, the biggest deal with them is that they still have to look like guys. The Bible says it's an abomination for girls to look like guys/guys to look like girls. So, in our society, makeup is for a.) girls, and b.) freak guys.
Therefore, only girls should wear makeup.
In any event, makeup is as much a product of the personality of a person as it is a product of their cleanliness levels. Guys don't have the kind of personalities to where they'd spend half an hour primping in the mirror. Some girls have personalities to where they'd like to spend five hours on their looks. It all just depends on your personality; however, I know that any guy I meet who spends time primping (aside from simply throwing on deodorant, brushing his teeth, shaving, and combing his hair) is not as masculine as I would like
