Hrm, I might be interested, but I'll be gone for a few weeks and may not have enough books of interest. I could read that TV repair manual from the 70's... :anxious:

Gone for a few weeks? Not a problem. :) We'll have short-term prizes and multiple ways to earn iTally marks that aren't dependent on constant ToO access. :) Boy, you guys are exhausting our FAQs before they're revealed. ;)

My old 1970s paperback version of LOTR has about the same number of words per page as my 1st edition copies of Passages. ;)

Plus, LOTR is just so much more captivating... That more than makes up for it! \:D/

I rarely participate in stuff because I don't want it to look unfair if I win, but I love to read, and I definitely want to be part of the summer reading contest! \:D/ I was quite distraught when I got too old for the one at my public library. :( I read less now than I used to, but I'm looking forward to the book-related discussions, as well as having an extra motivation to read more and be on the internet less. ;)

I've been meaning to read LOTR ever since the first movie came out. Still hasn't happened yet. :anxious:

Well, try to get the 1970's version so you'll earn more pages, and maybe have a better chance of winning the contest! ;)

I will sign up and attempt to read also, although excluding Dr. Seuss puts me at an extreme disadvantage. :noway:
