Whit's wiping down the counter, Connie's mopping the floor, and the kids are sipping on their milkshakes. If you want to talk about Adventures in Odyssey the radio drama, this is the spot to do just that!
Then Eugene, who was mutated by the destruction of the world, is now fifty feet tall and spills chemicals on all the other survivors, turning them into shape-shifting slime monsters!!!
(Because Connie, Wooton, and a bunch of other people took off in a rocket ship before the world's destrucion, then came back to what's left of earth)
Unfortunately, in the middle of their 157th game of dominoes, Eugene keels over from a sever case of radiation poisoning. Connie dies of severe thermal burns. Wooten gets really bored, and eats too much ice cream, causing his stomach to explode. He develops a massive infection and dies.
Thus ends the world as we know it.
Um, I guess this is where I'm supposed to say something funny or interesting.
Lucy wonders what she ate that would cause such a dream! She realizes that it was probably the fault of Mr. Winthrop and the fact that she had to write a paper about evolution for "The Educator"
"Iiii Ammm Notttt Jasonnnn..." The pseudo-Jason says, "Weeee Havvvve abducteddd youuuu,,, anddd areee takingggg youuuu tooo ourrr planetttt toooo workkkk forrr ourrr schoolll newspaperrrr...." The alien shape-shifts, turning into several green aliens her height. Lucy looks around and realizes she's inside a spaceship.
She then realizes that Lawrence Hodges was able to kill aliens (Terror From the Skies) with water and douses the aliens with water. The aliens then deteorate and she goes back home.
Then Liz Horton captures her and puts her in an underground prison so that she can be the best reporter in the entire world, since Lucy is her only competition!
However after spending some time in this prison she realizes that there is a way to get to the Underground Railroad tunnel to Whit's End. She takes the inside track and finds herself in the company of kind-hearted Mr. Whittaker.
