At the Second Church of Odyssey you'll find different ways of expressing your beliefs, finding prayer support or being encouraged through regular devotionals.
I've been reading Ecclesiastes lately (one of my favorites! ). Last week, though, I had to write a 13-page exegesis paper on John 14:1-7...it was pretty fun studying that passage!
I'm reading Genesis and Matthew for my devotions, and then in Intro to the Old Testament I am flying through the O.T. Today was 1 and 2 Kings, next is Isaiah.
I am doing the whole read one (or more) chapter in the Old Testament and then one(or more) chapter in the New Testament. Right now...I am in Gensis and Matthew...I am just now starting to read my Bible everyday. A good habit to start!
It's really cool. *nods* I am realizing that I am not the only one with strange dreams! And his strange dreams meant a whole lot! So that means...that God can use my dreams. *grin* (I knew that before....but sometimes it needs to be told in a different light)
Anyway, Revelations is very interesting and very confusing.
At the beginning of the summer I decided to start reading from the New Testament. And last night I just finished the book of James and it has always been one of my favourite books of the Bible. But i think for the next couple of nights Im going to go back to Luke and Mark to reread the Christmas story
