Yeah, then they make tham sing! I think that singing after being eliminated would be really hard.Catspaw wrote:I thought that Hayley would be more tearful when she got kicked off, but she seemed pretty emotionally stable...at least on camera. I always feel so bad for the person who gets eliminated!

Yeah, it must be hard. But some contestants even do a better job singing after they're eliminated than they did the previous night! It's always interesting when the songs they have to sing fit right in where they're at (like Gina singing "Smile" the week before when she was eliminated, which has the lyric, "Smile though you're heart is breaking.")Macnut wrote:Yeah, then they make tham sing! I don't know if anyone else noticed, but when Ryan reads the final result... the crowd cheers wildly (at 1:27 of the video).

Normally, you hear a bunch of "awws" and a handful of "boos" whenever someone is voted out. But not this time...

Although, I must say, I also feel just a little sorry for him. There's been a lot of extra emotional pressure put on him, and I'm sure it wasn't easy. I mean, after all, he is only 17.

I saw a TV show once where the star ran away, and I don't think I ever want to see it again
I agree, I have never seen it and I don't plan on watching it!

It's about time Chris left. I think Blake, Jordin and Melinda will definitely be the last three.
I want Melinda to win, though.

Well, whoever wins the three of them probably have great careers ahead of them.Zeba wrote:I was sad to see Chris go, but I expected it. As long as Blake wins, it's all good!

Well, I think they have a great top three. Jordin as vocally matured a lot and is a great singer, Blake is more unique than anyone else and I'm sure he'll have a great career, Melinda (my favorite) is impeccable vocally and a very good performer. The three of them have been my favorites for a while now and I'm really glad they're the last ones in the competition.
