It really is funny how much people talk about Sanjaya when they talk about American Idol!

I thought that Hayley would be more tearful when she got kicked off, but she seemed pretty emotionally stable...at least on camera. I always feel so bad for the person who gets eliminated!

Yeah, then they make tham sing! I think that singing after being eliminated would be really hard.

Yeah, it must be hard. But some contestants even do a better job singing after they're eliminated than they did the previous night! It's always interesting when the songs they have to sing fit right in where they're at (like Gina singing "Smile" the week before when she was eliminated, which has the lyric, "Smile though you're heart is breaking.")

Sanjaya is FINALLY gone. So we can get back to normal and not hear about him on the show anymore.

Simon was starting to smile when he saw that Sanjaya was in the bottom three, and he certainly seemed to have high hopes about who was leaving. It's about time, though I still feel bad whenever somebody leaves.

I don't know if anyone else noticed, but when Ryan reads the final result... the crowd cheers wildly (at 1:27 of the video).

Normally, you hear a bunch of "awws" and a handful of "boos" whenever someone is voted out. But not this time... \:D/

Although I disliked Sanjaya and wanted him to be gone, I did feel sorry for him when he was eliminated.

I noticed that, too. \:D/

Although, I must say, I also feel just a little sorry for him. There's been a lot of extra emotional pressure put on him, and I'm sure it wasn't easy. I mean, after all, he is only 17.

Me, too! I haven't watched a single episode.
I have never even seen a bit of it! :D
never have and probably never will...and I think that's a good thing ;)
Same With me...
I saw a TV show once where the star ran away, and I don't think I ever want to see it again :anxious:
I have never seen it either. The judges sound mean and it sounds like a show that is funny at the expense of others.

I agree, I have never seen it and I don't plan on watching it!

I definitely expected the "everybody stays" results of tonight! \:D/ Even a week ago I was wondering if they would really kick somebody off right after doing a charity show. Yay! \:D/

On the contrary, I think it's Jordin/Melinda's title to lose.

It's about time Chris left. I think Blake, Jordin and Melinda will definitely be the last three.

I want Melinda to win, though.

Yeah, I think that LaKisha will be the next one off too. I don't know who I want to win, because I like all three of the people that will probably be the top three!

I was sad to see Chris go, but I expected it. As long as Blake wins, it's all good! \:D/

Well, whoever wins the three of them probably have great careers ahead of them.

Hmm... well, I really like Chris but I really want to see LaKisha to win. They both have powerful voices. I'm not sure about Melinda. Nothing to unique about her vocals.

Well, I think they have a great top three. Jordin as vocally matured a lot and is a great singer, Blake is more unique than anyone else and I'm sure he'll have a great career, Melinda (my favorite) is impeccable vocally and a very good performer. The three of them have been my favorites for a while now and I'm really glad they're the last ones in the competition.
