Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin killed in accident

If there's something on your mind that just doesn't seem to fall into any of the other categories, well, it quite likely belongs inside Joe Finneman's marketplace. Think of it as a general store for general discussions!

From descriptions I've heard and read about he went unconscience underwater and then died a short time later. I don't think he had time to say any last words.

I know that he has said on many occasions that when he did go he hoped it was the biggest croc he could find and he hoped the cameras would be rolling.

Well the camera was rolling when the Stringray got him and people think there's a very good chance the footage will be released sometime.
He died on his boat going back to shore. BTW, his boat is named Croc One.

Even if he had died in the water, he would still have last words. The words he spoke before getting stung. :mecry:

I doubt it. His last words were probably something to his cameraman before he dived. He was unconcious when they pulled him up after the attack, and never woke up again.

it's so sad! I loved him and his shows. They were so much fun. He was so enthusiastic about his work you could tell he loved it and he was good about getting his daughter in when he could.

From watching a documentary on him on the Animal Planet earlier this week, I sadly doubt he was saved :(

I was shocked when I heard it. They Announcemented this in our church. The thing he was filming was ''The Deadlist Creatures of the Sea'' He was killed by what they called the pussy cat of the sea. The string ray has killed a total of 17 people. I can say that I kind of fiqured that he would die one of these times.
