What books are you reading?
In the same vein as movie/music threads...
Rifles for Watie a book about the Civil War and very good.
Lately I've been really into Dee Henderson, Angela Hunt, and Karen Kingsbury.
I'm in the middle of a Kingsbury book right now.

Ahh! I really want to read that one, but I didn't think it was available until March. It looks very good. Enjoy.Laurie wrote:Up next for me is The Messenger by Siri Mitchell.
I'm finishing up "Pride and Prejudice" and I'm going to read "Dakota Child" by Linda Ford again really soon and decide if I want to keep it or give it away. I'm trying to give away books on my shelf that I don't expect to want to read again. If I can live without them, then somebody else might as well enjoy them.

It is very good so far, I highly recommend it. I thought it wasn't going to be available until March myself. I found it quite by accident a week or so ago. I about screamed the store down when I saw it because I'd been waiting for it.

Just bought Obama: The Greatest President in the History of Everything by Frank J. Fleming for my Kindle. It's satire, btw

I am currently reading The Four Gospels of the New Testament in their original form of Biblical Greek. I'm taking Greek this semester at college and I am learning how to translate the New Testament. Fun!!

ObiWan Kenobi Girl! Welcome back! It's been a long time.

I am currently reading Goliath, the third book in the Leviathan series by Scott Westerfeld, and Jane Eyre. Jane Eyre is honestly tearing my life apart. This is the first time I've ever read it, and I've experienced each shock and surprise along with Jane. I've screamed at Rochester over and over again, and I've melted at every sweet scene between them. I'm an emotional wreck every time I put it down!
Trixie! Yay! I'm so glad to see you on the ToO again. I read "Jane Eyre" for a college years ago, and it was very good! I think I read it for two different classes, actually, and it was worth reading again. You make me want to read it again. What can I say? It can be fun to be an emotional wreck.Trixie Belden wrote:I am currently reading Goliath, the third book in the Leviathan series by Scott Westerfeld, and Jane Eyre.
