What books are you reading?

"Books? You want books?! Ha! We've got books on hairy otters, on onions and on mars! All the fungus you could care for, plus, three triple zillion stars. What's Under God about? Sounds good! :D
Its a collection of stories about different people in americas past, and spiritual battles. It is really good. :)
Now I want to read it. ;)

Just read the first two chapters he says. Do you know how addicted I get to any books? I was lost after two chapters. :(

Suzanne Collins is a talented author, she's got a unique way of story telling. \:D/

It's still rather morbid. o.O I'll probably finish this book, again, it take someone talented to turn this horror story into a 'good' book. But I really don't plan to read the next two, it's just not something worth spending hours on. :anxious: I still plan to see the movie, however, I'm curious as to whether they'll wreck or redeem it. O:)

I recently read "Making Waves" by Lorna Seilstad. It was her first book (apparently the second book in the series is out and the third will be soon) and it was quite good! Laurie, if you haven't read it, it seemed like the kind of book you might like. :D It takes place at Lake Manawa in 1895.

I'm currently reading "Prairie Cowboy" by Linda Ford. It's light reading, but hey, it's written by a Canadian author! \:D/ Yay! I like her historical books.

So, I've decided that I'm going to start reading The Hunger Games after I finish The Fellowship of the Ring (I've been reading that one since before I joined the ToO :P ) and Anne of Avonlea. I'm excited! :D
Ahh Anne books. :D How far in the series have you read? \:D/

IN's trying to get me to read The Lion of St. Mark's by Henty...I'm resisting. :P And then you'll finish the LotR series, right? \:D/
I'm in book three of the Anne series right now. I like it a lot so far. :)

Yep! I honestly don't know why it's taken me like, three years to get maybe halfway through the first one... but I'm trying to hurry up and finish so I can start reading The Hunger Games!

She left many of us behind. She left us heartbroken. And though we cry now there'll come a time when we'll laugh. Because we'll see her again someday. We'll be with her in heaven. And when we go to heaven she'll be there to greet us. She'll be there to say "Welcome home." -From a poem that SnC wrote about her grandmother

The second half of Catching Fire was amazing, and yes, the ending was especially incredible. \:D/

I know, right?
After Cinna was captured. .and everything President Snow did, I do not like him at all. And then. .no more District 12. It was even better than the first one.

Thank you? ;) I actually get addicted very easily, I spent half of last week reading the Alex Rider series, and the only reason I stopped was because I'm waiting for the next one to come in at the library.
