whats it like where your at?

If there's something on your mind that just doesn't seem to fall into any of the other categories, well, it quite likely belongs inside Joe Finneman's marketplace. Think of it as a general store for general discussions!

Very sunny and bright! It's a bit cold though so I wouldn't go outside in shorts...

I think it's... 16 degrees...(With a windchill like... a lot colder than that) And really windy. So, yeah, it's cold. \:D/

It's freezing outside! :cold: Well, it's not really that bad, but we've got snow, so it's cold. ;)

About the same here! It's been snowing all day, and we probably got about 5 inches. It looks so cool right now because it's still mostly "unspoiled" (a.k.a. not shoveled, plowed, or dirtied). I just got my license earlier this year, so today was my first time ever driving in snow. It was kind of freaky. I was driving under the speed limit (about 20-25mph) on a road near our house and put on the brakes a good ways from the stop sign, but I still slid all the way through the intersection! Fortunately, it was a four-way stop and the car coming the other way waited for me. And I eventually figured out how to avoid that problem in the future. :anxious:

Here it's about 40 degrees. It's pretty clear with lots of snow on the ground. \:D/

At the beginning of the year I wished I'd brought "my" car out here, to make getting places easier, but now I'm glad I don't have to navigate in icy/snowy weather. I haven't driven in snow much before :anxious:

It didn't start snowing here until a few hours ago, though...some of us just went slipping and sliding on the snow-coated streets :-

It was sunny and very cold. My computer says the high was 17, the local weather forcast said 18. Right now it is 13. Tomorrow it is supposed to get up to 28 and then warm up into the 40s next week.

Man, it's already in the 20's :( I've heard it's actually supposed to get above freezing :( The upside is that my car will start good now.

Just stopped raining but everything is completely soaked since it hasn't let up for the past three days. There is a tiny bit of blue sky to the north and a swell that is aprox. 6 feet high.
