It's such a great book . It really makes you keep reading. I am on chapter 10 of Catching Fire now.Musical Shutterbug wrote:I can't wait to read the end. It's driving me insane
What books are you reading?
In the same vein as movie/music threads...

Guys you should really discuss this all in the actual Hunger games thread. http://thetoo.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=30847
Unicorns exist... they just got fat and now we call them rhinos.

For school, I'm reading a book called The Cat of Bubastes by G. A. Henty. It's... interesting, I guess.
So, I've decided that I'm going to start reading The Hunger Games after I finish The Fellowship of the Ring (I've been reading that one since before I joined the ToO ) and Anne of Avonlea. I'm excited!

Thanks to my Secret Santa for the set!

I have just started MockingJay the final book of the Hunger Games Trilogy.
I love G. A. Henty! I think I listened to that book on tape but I don't really remember it.EMBEE wrote:For school, I'm reading a book called The Cat of Bubastes by G. A. Henty. It's... interesting, I guess.

I'm currently reading a couple books for school...which I'm too lazy to name at the moment. But I'm trying to get through Desiring God (I haven't picked it up in a week and I want to read it, I just don' t make time to)

IN's trying to get me to read The Lion of St. Mark's by Henty...I'm resisting. And then you'll finish the LotR series, right?

I just finished reading Fifth Business by Robertson Davies. It was a terrible novel and nobody should ever read it. Worst book I've read this year.
Just got Star Wars: Heir to the Empire by Timothy Zahn. I'm actually excited about it.

I finished Promise Me This, it was excellent. I absolutely loved it!! Next up for me is a contemporary: Recipes & Wooden Spoons by Judy Baer, it is the third book in the Grace Chapel Inn series. I have to read a contemporary or two since I've read a couple of historical novels. Otherwise I start to feel like I'm in a time warp.
