It's okay right now. I'm really looking foward to friday and the following few days. It's supposed to be in the lower 70s and sunny! I love it here in the fall!

There's a pretty bad storm coming.
I'm about to head to bed and my dad just came into my room to remind me that if he came in during the night I told me to get up, I need get up and get downstairs because there are Tornado warnings for our area. Ahh, brings back memories for Charley...and Frances...oh yeah, and Jeanne!

Well, it's gone! I guess it wasn't too bad because I slept right through it! A hard rain like that is always followed but nice cool weather! Yeah! Low 70s and mid 60s for the rest of the week! Sweet!Darcie wrote:I hope you Floridians and other Gulf-area folks are OK!!
We're still in the 80s. Needed to turn on the AC for a little while at my in-laws' house today.

YAY! Ok so this morning at like 10:30, I popped online to see what the weather would be for my 10-15 minute walk to class. It said light rain/mist and 64 degrees. I was like, "ok, I can handle this. I AM from Washington after all." So all was well and good until about 5 minutes in, when it started raining harder, and my coat bunched up on my back. I pulled it down, and a wall of water went own the back of my pants. Ugh. Turns out it didnt matter much cause about two minutes later I was in the middle of a torrential downpour. LITEREALLY!! I went about 100 feet and in that time, my shoes which already have issues with letting rain in, turned into lakes with feet inside them, my pants soaked through and felt like there were going to fall of, my coat soaked through as did my shirt underneath it, and my phone got wet. I still had like three more minutes of walking to do too! AAH!!!
I got to class and everyone was like "Whoah! What happened to you?" WATER! That's what! Virginia rain! So yeah, I took my test in less than 15 minutes and then had to walk back to my room. Joy. Had I known it would have beem this wet, I wouldn't have showered this morning. I got out of class, and then went to the girls bathroom to try and dry off a little by using the hand dryers to dry myself and my coat off. I was literally wringing out my coat, and there was a little pool of water when I finished. It was like someone had dunked me in a lake. Fortnately, it stopped raining after I waited aroiund a bit before heading back. Now I'm just FREEZING!! and shivering and wet and cold. Soup and flannel pajama's - here I come!
Yay! So that's wht the weather is like here.

A woman's heart should be so hidden in Christ that a man would have to seek Him to find her.

Well, right now, it's dark. But in general it's cool and sunny.
That's what I meant.
