A few reasons I'd imagine:
#1. You have a chance to win stuff by posting here.
#2. You can post about anything you want without worrying about going offtopic.
#3. It's just fun to hang out here.

I hate alarm clocks.

I was planning on getting up at 8:00, but nOOooo......I woke up at 3:00 PM!!!!

I am rather glad though, this thread has only grown one page since I left.
