Pride and Prejudice (the long version...it really is awesome!)
I agree! Pride and Prejudice is a movie all should see, especially girls. The 6-hour version is much more detailed, but the 2-hour version is much better in acting. Would you agree darling, Barely is?
I like the way they show a more sisterly bond between Jane and Elizabeth in the 2 hour one. :D And I like the fact that it showed Mr. Bennet apologizing to Mary after he made her stop playing the piano at that one ball.
But I really like the 6 hour one, too.

Everyone should see the original for the nostalgic effect, but also the remake as well. ;)

Sleepless in Seattle
While you were Sleeping
Gone with the Wind
It Happened one night
Kate and Leopold. (sorta...)
Schindler's List (someone already said that. it's very good)
A Beautiful Mind (also very moving.)
tons of others, but those are the ones that come to me first.
We have a romantic here! O:) But I like most of those movies too! I can't really think of any movies that everybody HAS to watch, but Pirates of the Caribbean is like the most awesome movie on earth!

Ok, I need a list:
LOTR
Chronicles of Narnia
Italian Job
All Harry Potter movies
Spiderman
Amistad
School of Rock
Dumb and Dumber
These are good movies. I didn't put all the good movies I know but these are all the ones I can think of.

If you want to be accurate, "hopeless romantic" is the appropriate term. I haven't yet seen Pirates of C. i heard it was good though. there's a cute guy in it, right? O:)

More than one! \:D/ There are some kind of violent pirate-ish scenes as well - it isn't exactly a romance, though of course there's an element of that as well. It's a fun movie! :D

*cringes at mention of the Village*

Although, I do like Joaquin Phoenix so it can't be all bad... though I think it's box office take and reviews speak for themselves... ;)

Have you seen it, or are you just judging based off it's box office success?

I know the twist, so I heard if you know that, it's not worth seeing. :(

But beyond Unbreakable I've never been too big into M Night Shamalan (sp?), anyway... Signs had a great message, and two of my favorite actors, but the plot was just too out there for me, personally...

True, the twist greaty enhances the film. However, if you appreciate great cinematography and excellent acting, it's worth a $2.50 movie rental, in my opinion.
