I haven't seem any ads on tv yet (maybe b/c i'm canadian and their only showing it on american stations). But i have seen the trailer. looks so good. just hope that they will be showing it where I live.

I think my mom and I are going to go see it tomorrow night. It depends on how tired we are and how much work we still have to do.

For anyone remotely interested in Jim Elliot -

after Through the Gates of Splendor, In the Shadow of the Almighty is a must-read! Also by Elisabeth Elliot, Jim's widow, it's basically chapters from his journal, spanning both the years before and the time of their reach to the Waodani. Very good book, and very convicting - Jim is an incredible writer. An all-time favorite of mine. :)

I got it out of my school library last year(I go to a Christian school) and it definately was a fascanating read

I seen a Documentary with his wives talking about their lives in Ecodar and I was nearly in tears :mecry:
