For anyone remotely interested in Jim Elliot -
after Through the Gates of Splendor, In the Shadow of the Almighty is a must-read! Also by Elisabeth Elliot, Jim's widow, it's basically chapters from his journal, spanning both the years before and the time of their reach to the Waodani. Very good book, and very convicting - Jim is an incredible writer. An all-time favorite of mine.
