Will you buy "Eugene Sings"

Whit's wiping down the counter, Connie's mopping the floor, and the kids are sipping on their milkshakes. If you want to talk about Adventures in Odyssey the radio drama, this is the spot to do just that!

You can hear two of the songs here.

"Play Me a Ukulele Tune"
"The Moonlight, a Tuba, and You"

My guess is that the songs will be recorded again for the new album.
Wow, who else thinks this doesn't sound like Eugene?
Do any of YOU know how to make hand shadows?

It's not supposed to be Eugene on that CD, it's supposed to be Elmo Aardvark. ;-)

Huzzah! New info regarding Eugene's debut album! \:D/

According to EugeneReturns.com:

Eugene is so excited about his return to Odyssey that he just has to sing! Here's Eugene as you've never heard him before. For the first time ever, Eugene croons, strums, and harmonizes his way through over a dozen wonderfully original songs in his debut music release Eugene Sings! From mangy canine ballads to poignant love songs, Eugene Sings! is sure to keep the whole family laughing and singing to the melodious meanderings of Eugene Meltsner!

There are presently three previews available on the Eugene Sings page.

"Have You Ever Been to Odyssey?"
-Real Player
-MP3

"My Dog Has Fleas!"
-Real Player
-MP3

"I Just Met a Girl Named Katrina"
-Real Player
-MP3

Eugene Sings will also include:

"Love One Another"
"The Moonlight, a Tuba, and You"
"I'll Never Sneeze Again"
"The Only Thing Missing is You"
"Lift Up Your Heads!"
"Play Me a Ukulele Tune"
"A Very Short Song"
"Pulchra Nympha Tu!"
"O-D-Y-Double S-E-Y!"
"The Rose of Antelope Valley"
Plus four instrumentals!

Apparently, they'll be making more 30-second clips available next Friday (June 10).

After listening I will probably buy it. I wasn't sure when I first heard about the album.

I already listened to the clips, courtesy of the SF. ;) It sounds really good! I had already planned on buying the CD, but it was fun to hear a clip! \:D/

Maybe we could get Eugene some medicine for his poor dog - fleas can be a killer! :(

I really need to get a copy of this as soon as possible. I've been wanting something like this for years, and now it has finally become a reality (although I wish some of the songs he does in AIO were on it too).

Ooh that's right. I forgot they were going to release more clips.

My favorite from the new batch is the Moonlight one. Absolutely hilarious.

Thanks for the mp3 links Trent.
