Guam is a part of the US. But you don't get to vote for President because it's not a state.
That makes no sensebookworm wrote:If they can’t vote for president why can they vote for who to be the presidential candidate...

Sure, if they can deal with constant power outages and stuffSunshine wrote:One of the young ladies at our church married a Canadian. My dad was talking with them about health care differences between USA and Canada a month or two ago, and from what it sounds like, right now health care is better down here (although, not all of the health care plan has taken effect, I don't think) than up there. But the lady said she told her husband (half-jokingly) that if health care plans start to get really bad, she might just like to move to Canada for a couple of years, because at least they've already figured out the government health care, what suits the government, etc.snubs wrote:Of course they do, because it's not run by Obama. ...okay, now you can drill me for saying that.jasonjannajerryjohn wrote:I'll go to Canada. As for where to move to, Josh and Jake might appreciate a bunch of us ToOers moving to Ghana with them...

Not if she moves to Europe. Unless Obama is plotting to take over the world. Which knowing him could happen.Mark Prescott wrote:Well, even if you move you still have to pay the Obama care tax.
No. I'm not going to let that go. It's nonsense. Knowing him, he's likely to take over the world? Really? I'm sorry, but that's so reactionary and over the top that I can't stop myself from calling it out. It's simply not true, and the more you repeat it, the more people believe it. Please stop perpetuating these sort of rumors.Laurie wrote:Unless Obama is plotting to take over the world. Which knowing him could happen.
It was a joke darcie that's all a simple joke. There is no need to get that upset about a simple joke. Since you are that upset about it have a moderator delete the post.darcie wrote:No. I'm not going to let that go. It's nonsense. Knowing him, he's likely to take over the world? Really?
