Sharon Wilbur, a former American Idol contestant, is joined in this song by her father and father-in-law, who call themselves 'The Pops'. The song is very upbeat and bluesy, with no instruments other than a guitar, and some prerecorded background vocals and percussion. Sharon's vocals certainly fit the song well, and overall everything flows smoothly, although it drags on after a little while. The lyrics are also good, and are explicitly Christian, talking about how God will never leave nor forsake us, taken from Deuteronomy 31:6. Sharon Wilbur, when she puts out an LP (she released her first EP, entitled "You're My Heart," in 2008) will certainly be well-received.
