Twilight is awesome

"Books? You want books?! Ha! We've got books on hairy otters, on onions and on mars! All the fungus you could care for, plus, three triple zillion stars. We've got books on flossing teeth, plus three books on tossing sheep. If we spent our lives just counting books, we'd never get to sleep!" -Leopold the Librarian ("The Great Wishy Woz")

I've tried reading Twilight. The books are boring and just badly written. The movies are eh. The end.

I can't stand Twilight. A cousin recommended the first book to me, for some twisted and sick reason known only to him he thought I would like it. I got to Chapter 17 of the first book and had to stop, could not read another page. Have not picked up another book since and never will. I have not watched the movies and I never will. What I read was bad enough.

I initially thought this thread was a joke, and I'm still not entirely sure whether it is or not. :(

I don't think it is.

You know, for some odd reason I'm thinking that Laurie doesn't like Twilight.

Your thinking is correct, I don't like Twilight. If other people like it fine, but I don't. I have the first two books sitting in a pile of books that will be donated, but I'm thinking that the Twilight books are more suited for the trash/landfill.

You know, I'm starting to think I should get the first book from the library. Maybe I could get a few laughs from it... \:D/

I read the first Twilight book. It was boring. I didn't read the rest.

The same exact thing could be said about those who hate Harry Potter. It's a two way street.

Seriously? Those pathetic, shirtless-scene-loving pansies with fur are the last thing in the world I would describe as a werewolf, and I'm including my Chick-Fil-A waffle fries on that list.

Now Remus Lupin...there's a werewolf. :inlove:

Man, if you think the haters are worse...try the Harmonians. I mean, seriously, those fans are insane. It's difficult to actually list all the general fandom issues--most of which do indeed come from insane shippers--but here's a partial list anyway:
