I agree. His books are good.

Blink would be really neat, if the right producer decided to make it.

I love the cartoon too but I still think they need to make it into a better movie.

I mean, we have the BBC Lion Witch and Wardrobe, why do we all want a better one...

Yeah! (As long as they don't go into too much detail about the demons and not enough about the angels.) And The Oath would make a great movie, too. So would the Cooper Kids series. I haven't read all of those, but I like most that I've read (especially The Tombs of Anak and Escape From the Island of Aquarius).

I think they should make Inkheart and Inkspell (Cornelia Funke) into movies. For some reason I think they are, though...in the back of my head somethings telling me they're making it into a movie.

peter jackson MUST make that a movie
I believe that he wants to make it, but he has to aquire the rights from MGM to make it because they made the cartoon. The Hobbitian set is still there in New Zeeland in the hopes that they'll be able to make it. In fact I know last year PJ had to work with the city reconfigure some work that would have put power lines aroud that set.

there are so many good books that would be excellent movies. I'd like to see more by Nicholas Sparks.

I wish the movies could follow more of the books. It seems like so many important details are left out, or the movie is different from the book.

I only glanced over all this, so this may have been mentioned... but I saw a lot of people mentioned Peretti and Dekker books... so I thought I'd let you know that Peretti's "The Visitation" is coming out soon, and Dekker's "Thr3e" is in production... \:D/

There are some good Stephen King books that haven't been made to movies yet.

Desperation is coming soon (I can't wait!!!!!), and I hope The Regulators follows. The Talisman is also coming soon, presumably followed by Black House. I also can't wait for Nightmares and Dreamscapes limited tv series!

I want to see The Long Walk, Roadwork, Rose Madder, and Gerald's Game made into movies. And what would be really awesome would be a Dark Tower movie series just like Harry Potter.

EDIT: I forgot about From A Buick 8 and The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon. Now those would be good!

Prey by Michael Chricton would be a really nice movie.

How about Pandora's Star! It's this awesome 700 page book with 20 or so characters that are really hard to get straight and like 5 different story lines. It sort of feels like a movie already!

It's about these twin stars [like our sun] and one completely disappears and they discover someone or something has put a shield around the entire THING! They don't know why, and then so on and so forth.
