The worst AIO episode!

Whit's wiping down the counter, Connie's mopping the floor, and the kids are sipping on their milkshakes. If you want to talk about Adventures in Odyssey the radio drama, this is the spot to do just that!

Agreed. The "split episodes" were also pretty bad. \:D/

Well, so far Fairy Tale-a-vision would have my vote. I actually like Lights Out at Whit's End, but then I am of the 'schoolhouse rock' generation, so maybe that's why. I also like Viva La Difference, KYDS Radio, and BTV episodes. I guess that's what makes AIO so great, there's something for every body. I also find Share & Share Alike a bit irritating. Then again, it's really hard to call ANY AIO episode 'bad'.

Well, "Fairy Tale-a-vision" was a "Kid's Radio" thing - and like all of those are kind of weird... so that is not as much of a bug to me as the "Lights Out at Whit's End" singing thing. As "American Eagle" was saying it was varry "unAIO"_

The Great Wishy Woz. I absolutely cannot stand that episode. And yes, I know a lot of people like it.

I listened to The Devil Made Me Do It again last night, and it should also be considered for this award.

Wow, only two mentions of Idol Minds? In the last thread like this, I think it was near unanimous...

It's been awhile since I've heard all of them...but:

- Eugene makes a robot Whit. Since this is Odyssey, he doesn't set out to destroy Whit's End and enslave humanity -- because that would have been a better plot than this strange way of equating Whit with God and the Commandments.

- Dr. James Dobson shows up in Odyssey mostly to drop names of books he wrote, have people fawn over him, and hype the upcoming weekday repeats. He leaves town via the transporter the Imagination Station and is never mentioned again.

- KYDS radio loves Shrek so much they make an episode out of it. Sort of.

- Jimmy Barclay's bonkers cousin comes over and sucks him into the evils of RPGs. No, it isn't about wasting endless hours in front of a computer shunning sunlight and people while drinking Mountain Dew - it's about letting your imagination get away from you. Or Satan worship. Maybe. Connie surprisingly doesn't site a conflict of interest and sit out these episodes. It's one of the most alarmist episodes they did, and the one I'm most embarrassed to hear.

- Connie dreams about straw men doing bad impressions of people who aren't Conservative Republicans. Meanwhile, Satan hits on her while we learn that he's the head of PBS (I knew Bob Ross was hiding subliminal messages in those Happy Trees). Do we have all of the cliches down yet? Thankfully it seems like AIO producers aren't big fans of this type of show, so we only get a little culture warring a few times a decade when it's ordered from higher-ups.

If this seems a little harsh, I promise my opinions about 99% of the episodes are significantly better, and my favorite episodes list is much longer.
