The page count winner isn't determined by time on the ToO, but by how much you read. And if you wanted to enter the weekly drawings, you'd only need to get on and post once a week. Other than that, it depends on you.Danielle Abigail Maxwell wrote:I can join... but just a question. How many times a day or even week must I come on here? At home, I have the WORST internet, and I'm going to limit myself this summer on it.

No, you can read whatever you want. There will be some criteria on what does and doesn't count, but since we're looking at page count and not number of books read, it makes sense to let everyone read what they want.Pseudonym wrote:Everyone is going to be reading the same books, right? (Say, Jugglah, does this count as spam? I hope not, 'cause it fun.

Just get dust jackets for all your books, and all will be well!Invisible Ninja wrote:That's not nice! LIZZIEG!!Jugglah wrote:Oh, only your books. But smaller pages often have smaller words.Pseudonym wrote:Except... a page of LOTR does not equal a page of Passages.LizzieG wrote:No, you can read whatever you want. I see your point, but we couldn't change things without either taking the fun out of the contest or setting up an impossible system. I wouldn't want to assign a list of books that everyone had to read because then it would look too much like school. Now if the grand prize were an all-expenses-paid trip to Hawaii or something, then it would be different.Pseudonym wrote:Except... a page of LOTR does not equal a page of Passages.LizzieG wrote:No, you can read whatever you want. Wait for the FAQs - they will explain all!darcie wrote:Does Dr. Seuss count?

But no.

That's usually me during the school year, but what better time than summer to break out the books you want to read?V-lady wrote:I would sign up, but considering that I haven't read a single book (except for the Bible) in like months, I don't think it would be a very good idea.
