Would you hand me a cough drop, please?

Star Trek The Original Series is the best ST out there in the final frontier.

Every single class, no matter what year, is wonderful as long as one person is graduating.

Congratulations StrongNChrist, J-Man and Glenn Adams! (And anyone else who is graduating this year).
It kinda makes me feel old thinking about the SAT and ACT tests. :D

I agree with Lord Sesshoumaru! Graduation ceremonies can be extremely boring and long for some people watching. I am sure when it is my child graduating I will feel differently! At my college, we had a baccalaureate ceremony the night before the graduation that seemed kinda pointless. We did everything the same as the graduation except get our diplomas.

Congratulations, SNC, J-man, GlennAdams, my sister, and all other 2009 graduates! \:D/

I took the SAT instead of the ACT, and I took it before the writing section was implemented! :D Not that I don't like writing, but writing quickly under pressure is not something I relish.

I haven't been to that many graduations, but after watching part of one online last week, I'm definitely more excited for my own.

Congratulations to all of the graduates! \:D/ How exciting! Although just so you know, 2004 has always been the VERY BEST year to graduate. O:)

I took the SAT test in my senior year, but we aren't required to take the GED in VA. I always had the impression that the GED was geared more for those who have dropped out of (normal) high school, and therefore didn't earn a diploma. I was homeschooled, yes, but I did complete my courses and earn a diploma. It's just as valid as a public or private school diploma, in my opinion. :D I'm just glad I wasn't required to take another test. Blech - tests are not my favorite.

LizzieG, I took the SAT the year before the writing was implemented as well, and I'm SOOO glad. I despise having to write on a deadline - especially with pencil and paper! :-

Aww, why is everyone so down on the writing section? :( I loved the PSAT writing section. I took the SAT the year before writing was added, but I couldn't get enough and took 3 SAT II subject tests, including the writing. It's mostly grammar, and the writing prompt is usually open enough that you can write about whatever you want, provided it argues a point. I remember going in knowing what I wanted to write about (Hamlet and the Bible for two), and sure enough, I found some way to use examples from those two works in my argument. :)
