Whit's wiping down the counter, Connie's mopping the floor, and the kids are sipping on their milkshakes. If you want to talk about Adventures in Odyssey the radio drama, this is the spot to do just that!

Tapes are better from programs like AIO, anyway.
Back in my day we had to listen to them on LPs!

It's a record, right? A vinyl? Those things that Relient K says kids now use for frisbee golf? ; )

O.k., haha, now I feel really young and stupid. Of course I know what a record is, but I've never heard it called an LP. That would be really cool if they made AIO on records.

There are now a little over 300 Odyssey episodes on iTunes, and the price has gone down to $1.95 each!

Nice find, Lizzie! That's definitely a much more affordable price.
It'd be nice if they packaged them by album, though.

I'm confused...when I search "Adventures in Odyssey" on iTunes, I still only come up with about 150 results. 148, to be precise, because the podcasts also show up. What am I missing?

If you click "More Results" in the lower right corner, you'll see the rest of them

I must admit I was pretty excited about AIO being available on iTunes. But after downloading an episode, I realized that the sound quality is terrible. Hehe, I was wondering about the 6.5 mb file size for an almost half hour show.
It is nice to be able to download Odyssey, but I sure am disappointed. I can get better quality listening to a free streaming episode. The one good thing is that they lowered the price to $1.95.

That's really sad... especially considering the majority of music sold on iTunes has a bit rate of 128 kbps
as a minimum .
I don't know what the quality is typically like for audio books on iTunes, though.

Nice observation, Reddo! However, I still wish they would offer higher quality versions of the episodes on iTunes.
