In a bit less then 2 years from now, when I turn 23. \:D/

I think it's cool when it falls on a birthday that's already considered "major," like 16/18/21 etc.

My Golden Birthday

I believe that golden birthdays come when you turn the age that your birthday numbers have. For example, I was born July 19,1984 therefore my golden birthdays came when I turned 7 and 19 and will come again when I turn 84 (if that should happen). I didn't realize this until after I turned 7 and my 19th was all right. I think it was part of a string of momentous birthdays. Observe:

16: sweet sixteen
17: having an age named after a magazine
18: adulthood
19: golden birthday
20: exiting teenage years
21: age for legally being able to drink

well I'm 22 now so the next special birthday I get is when I turn 40, which I 'm not looking forward to.

So in answer to the question my golden birthday won't be for a while since two of mine have already passed. I guess I can be happy that I don't have my sister's birthday. She was born on May 3, 1986. She went through her golden birthdays real quick and her next one won't be for quite a while.

I hate to sound dumb, but I'm confused. :anxious: I understand the idea of a golden birthday on the day you were born (i.e., 19 years old for you) but where does the 7 come from? :anxious: I think that I had a golden birthday and didn't know about it!

The seven comes from July--amy's birthday month--the seventh month of the year, if I'm understanding this correctly. :anxious:

I passed my golden birthday 14 years ago, when I turned 3.

According to that, I had one when I was 9. Because September is the 9th month. But for sure, I have a golden birthday coming when I turn 24. \:D/

Of, the number of the month! Ahh! Why didn't I think of that before? Please disregard my previous post and pretend that I am smart. Thank you to all. ;)
