Less than an hour until it's 6 in California, which is where he lives... Maybe we should listen to his radio station now.

So would I, now he's definitely a false prophet. I was reading something yesterday, an article on a family, the parents believed the rapture was today so they spent all of their savings and college money on advertising and T shirts and all sorts of crazy stuff, I wonder what they're thinking right about now.

Is anybody missing? Better yet, post if you were raptured! ;)

6:30 and all is well. And that is the end of Harold Camping.

The takeaway from all this is that there are going to be people like this trying to distract us,

but we should remain faithful to the truth and God will deal with them Himself.

I take great comfort in that first verse from Deuteronomy. Notice that it doesn’t just say don’t listen to him, it says don’t fear him. That’s a wonderful message.

I’m sure Camping’s followers are very disappointed and confused right now. I hope they don’t lose their faith in the Bible because of this, only in this man’s false interpretations of it.

I was in an airplane when the pilot got raptured... At least the autopilot is good enough to land a plane... Unfortunately, the autopilot also got raptured, so we crashed and I died. :(

Their website is finally back up. Totally resigned, and no reference whatsoever to the 21st.

The website isn’t, but all information about the prediction is.
However, it is still in the Wayback Machine to humiliate them.

I think he's embarassed... or in hiding. :-k After all this rigamarole you would think someone from there would've submitted a statement. :noway: Very very unprofessional.

EDIT: There is a story. Just came out an hour ago.... and it tells us nothing. But http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2011/05/ ... 5398.shtml

there it is anyway.

My my! Kind of laughable...

Maybe Camping isn’t a preacher, just a bookie.
May 21st was the 136th running of the Preakness Stakes. The winning horse was Shackleford. The jockey? Jesus Castanon.
