I like to call myself Baptistic. My beliefs are closest to the Baptist theology, but I want to be careful not to follow a religious group, and focus on Jesus. The church I go to is Baptist.Marvin D. wrote:Are you Baptist?
I don't know.Ben Linus wrote:A better question still: Why would you NOT be Baptist? jk. Don't have to answer that..

It started with Wikipedia. My username was "America Needs Jesus", but some users didn't like it and wanted me to change. I obliged, but still wanted something patriotic. I also considered "American Patriot", but ultimately went with American Eagle. The rest is history.GALAXY X wrote:Why is your name AE?

Why didn't they like it? Favorite food? Why haven't you asked me a question? What homeschooling course do you use?

Because it was too pro-Christian. Usernames like "ILoveJesus" are generally okay, but stuff like "You're A Sinner!" or "American Needs to Be Saved", etc., are too over the top in their eyes (America Needs Jesus fit in this category). I could've fought to keep it (and likely would've won), but I wanted to be a peacemaker for them, and not a rebel.Marvin D. wrote:Why didn't they like it?
Wow... loaded question! I love pizza, spaghetti, lasagna, cheese, rice (with soy sauce), potato cheese soup (homemade), Skittles, cheesecake, and so on and so forth. I could name quite a bit more stuff, but I don't really have an absolute favorite.Marvin D. wrote:Favorite food?
I'll get right onto that.Marvin D. wrote:Why haven't you asked me a question?
Various. Advanced Training Institute, Bob Jones, Abeka, Saxon, etc.Marvin D. wrote:What homeschooling course do you use?
I have to agree with Marvin. "Hee hee" just sounds too girly (this isn't an insult ), whereas "mwhaha" sounds deep and scary.Ben Linus wrote:What's a better laugh: Mwhahahahaha!! or 'Tee hee hee...'

I'm in 10th grade, and like it alright. "America: Land I Love" is a great book (my youth pastor, seeing it, said he did it years ago and thought it was fantastic). My science book has some interesting stuff, but not when they're talking about physics or energy or elements. My liturature book is pretty fun to read! (History, Science and Liturature are the three Abeka books I'm doing.)Marvin D. wrote:What about Abeka? As in what grade? Do you like it?
Yeah, thank you! I thought I'd be answering these measly questions until death do us part!Marvin D. wrote:Aren't you glad that I the great Marvin showed you that link called view your posts? Now you can un-subscribe from this tread!
Never thought about it, but I'm going to go with Fruit Tea. Black is too bland (I always have to add lots of sugar & lemon to make it taste good), and Green Tea is just too... sour? I don't know; not sour, but something like that. All three are good, but Fruit gets my vote.Ben Linus wrote:What's better: Green Tea, Fruit Tea, or Black Tea?

I love the Literature books too. I read them in a week or so.
But I hate physics!!!
Why have you never changed your status?

Write how awesome I am??
Or you oughta write something about your life.
I never knew you had me on your friends list. O.O
What is your favorite smiley? Favorite quote?
Why don't you use the bank? what are you saving your money for?
Do you think it is OK to be gay? Single?
Expound.
And please don't expound like Wooton in Nothing but the Half Truth from "Blech." to "Bleeeeeeeeecccccchhhhh!"

Either or . Both are totally awesome, but I don't know which is awesomest.Marvin D. wrote:What is your favorite smiley?
Don't really have one. Some favorites: "Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." (Jesus) "Of two evils, choose neither." (Charles Spurgeon) "I'm becoming a verb in Odyssey. When their kids are doing something silly, parents are always tell them to stop 'Wooton' around!" (Wooton)Marvin D. wrote:Favorite quote?
Because taking money in and out of the bank got tiring (I did it a lot), and the bank interest wasn't even working. I'm not really saving for anything, but I actually do use/give away my money quite often in the shops, contests, etc.Marvin D. wrote:Why don't you use the bank? what are you saving your money for?
No, because it is not how God designed it. "Male and female", the Bible calls them. Absolutely nowhere in God's Word is such practices allowed or condoned.Marvin D. wrote:Do you think it is OK to be gay?
NOOO! Everyone must be married right noooooowww! (I'm not sure why you'd ask me if it's alright to be single... )Marvin D. wrote:Single?
