Oooh, you made a good choice, Catspaw! I've read most of Jane Austen's books, and Persuasion is my second favorite. I so remember that series. I read some of them when I was younger and then I introduced them to my little sister. I think I read the first few books of that series to her when she was younger and little. I loved that series so much
It's a great series. And you're right, your brain can rest and simply enjoy everything.
