OBAMA WINS BY A LANDSLIDE

If there's something on your mind that just doesn't seem to fall into any of the other categories, well, it quite likely belongs inside Joe Finneman's marketplace. Think of it as a general store for general discussions!

Because we kill BABIES, DEFENSELESS INFANTS, in COLD BLOODED MURDER! We are the worst nation on earth. There have been more infants killed since the 60s than there were people killed in the Holocaust. Why? For the greater good: stem cell research, saving them from the agony of genetic diseases, unplanned pregnancies put to an end. The greater good for whom? You? Or the infant you just killed? Think about that for a while. If I ever hear someone say that we are the best nation ever, I will scream this rant at them. I promise. I am so fed up with “perfect Americans” yelling at me because of my German heritage. Yes, I admit it. My great-grandfather was an SS officer. What are you going to do about it? Every single Memorial Day and Veterans’ Day, I get slammed left and right for something my people apologized for. Guess what! They are a better nation than us. Do you know why? They apologized. They made amends. As a nation. You, Americans, have killed your children. And you condemn them. Hypocrites.
*points to the above* That is my response.

I know. I didn't say that other places don't abort babies. ;) I am just talking about America, though. :p I could talk about other places, but it would be irrelevant.

So that post was quite um interesting though it really doesn't seem all that relevant to the current discussion...

Actually, that could be said of your post.

Since abortion, for better or worse, plays into politics and this thread discusses politics, then yes, her post was relevant.

Extremely relevant. I think we need to touch a little bit more on abortion. It hasn't really been mentioned in this topic.

From what I know (which isn't all that much really, :p), Mr. Obama will not vote for life. He will vote for death.

If Jesus came to America right this very instant and saw that 40 million (or something like that) babies have been murdered, what do you think he would say?

Jesus would say abortion is a terrible practice. I'm sorry, but Mr. Obama is very, very wrong about his policies on life. Obama

Having said all that, I am looking forward to 2012. Then I can finally vote! Yay! Lol.

That's incredibly rude. Eat a sock and die?? I'm sure that phrase does not please God. If one is going to debate, debate in a respectable manner. Otherwise, you display yourself as a fool.

And America is still the best nation on earth, in it's freedom and such. although the way it's going right now it won't be later on.

I disagree, Canada is better. We have more human rights, more multiculturalism, and we don't have FEMA camps! (That anyone has discovered...)

and the government controls pretty much everything. but I don't feel like getting into a debate about which country is better, if you don't mind. O:)

I hate politics. never liked 'em. keep getting sucked into debates over them. They make me irritated. I really hope the debates will vanish within the week.

I think abortion is despicable, but you still can't deny how great the whole "freedom of religion" and "freedom of speech" and such things are. People who kill babies are going to be judged for their sins, and we should try to stop them from killing babies, but I wouldn't say America is the worst country in the world. Nowhere close. There are countries where Christians are killed; I wouldn't want to live there. There are places where almost everyone on this thread would be executed for speaking against the government. So, be glad for the government you have in spite of its faults.
