I totally agree! I'm really looking forward to this, because I know that it's going to be so good! I haven't read the book in a while - I should try to re-read it a while before the episodes air but not too close, so any little differences don't bother me.

That's my secret to watching/listening to books turned into movies/audio dramas!

I, too, am very excited for Darien's Rise. I thought it was a great book and will make an excellent audio drama. I wonder if they'll do roughly one book adaptation per album for a while.

New Passages episodes will be airing this September - album 51 episodes will be airing in March 2010.

ok so they are going to just do a small mini seris they may or may not tie into odyssey till 2010? kinda like they did with the short lived Last Chance Detectives stories?

That seems to be a safe assumption - although it's going to be more directly tied to Odyssey than the Last Chance Detectives were.

ok well cool. that gives me plenty of time then to finish listening through the entire series. i am on album 28 now. i stopped listen for a while then mom got 49 and 50 for my brothers and that got me interested in them again.

*sighs* Too true. A lot of our members have disappeared/cut way back because of that. But a lot of them do make it back, which is good!

Darien's Rise is set to start airing on Spetember 19th. It will be at least six parts. Season 51, though, will not air untill next March.
