I'm going crazy while waiting for the Tintin movie to come out

I'm planning on dragging, err, taking ten of my friend to come see it with me \:D/

I recently went to see Hugo with my cousins. I really enjoyed it...thought it was a touching, poignant film.

What exactly is the big deal with this Tintin thing? I saw the preview...it was somewhat underwhelming, I must say.

I love words. I love to sing them and speak them and even now, I must admit, I have fallen into the joy of writing them.

The Muppets! I think my friends and I were the only ones over the age of 8 who were not accompanying children. :anxious:

Doesn't surprise me, but I think its weird that it seems to be going that way when really the Muppets were never like... targeting little kids. They were always pretty general with some adult-ish humor thrown in.

I've grown up reading the Tintin books by Hergé, so I have a special attachment to them.

Beyond that, it's Peter Jackson, Steven Spielberg, Andy Serkis, and Cary Elwes, combined \:D/ Could it get any better?

...oh yes, it could. John Williams is doing the music. HEAVEN :inlove:

Oh, John Williams. The ultimate winner in musical scoring. :inlove:

Agreed. The kids didn't get half the jokes. All the adults were roaring at the Dirty Dancing parody and the kids were like :-s .

The Muppet Christmas Carol. \:D/ I think Catspaw has made me totally nostalgic for that movie. And I'm also obsessively watching trailers for the Chipmunks movie. :-

I saw that awhile ago; I liked it, even though it had a sad ending. It was interesting to see Alec Guinness play someone other than Obi-Wan. :)

Till the end of the line.

You are most welcome! \:D/

My brother and I watched National Treasure 2 tonight for the first time. It was good. Not great, but enjoyable.
