Which of the seven Narnia Book is your favorite?
I have been seeing many people wearing sets about Narnia so I decided to ask you guys "Which of the seven Narnia Books is your favorite." Mine is the Last Battle and the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe

My two favorites are The Horse and His Boy and The Last Battle. And they're the highest on the poll so far - yay!

The third book, which is oddly listed fifth in the poll.

That's because there are two ways of reading the books. You can read them chronologically, which is:
Magician's Nephew
Lion, WItch, Wardrobe
Horse and His Boy
Prince Caspian
Dawn Treader
Silver Chair
Last Battle
Or you can read them in published order, which is:
Lion, WItch, Wardrobe
Prince Caspian
Dawn Treader
Silver Chair
Horse and His Boy
Magician's Nephew
Last Battle
My favorite hands down is the Silver Chair. I know I lot of people don't love that one, but Puddleglum is my favorite character in the whole series, Eustace and Jill work well together, and Puddlieglum's speech nearly brings me to tears every time. So yeah, I love that one! Next favorite would be either Dawn Treader or Horse and His Boy.

And we all know that the correct way to read them is the published order.

I protest! That's the confusing way to read it.Laura Ingalls wrote:And we all know that the correct way to read them is the published order.
As for my favorite, I love The Horse and His Boy.
SnC Forever. Miss you still.

I wish.
Edit: TO clarify I am NOT acting in it, I just wish I could. Notice the small print "I wish" before PMing.

I enjoyed The Horse and His Boy... but it just doesn't lend itself to the style of the films thus far... if they make more films at all I doubt that one will ever be one of them.

I agree, Anne! I read them in chronological order first, and it's much, MUCH better. You get a clear layout of how the story flows and how everything fits together. Published way? You get the Magician's Nephew at the end with the Last Battle, when they're in dramatically different time periods. In chronological, you also get to see how the characters grow from one book to the next. You see Edmund go from a brat in LWW to a kind and wonderful king in HHB. You see Jill go from a whiny show off in SC to a sweet and caring girl in LB. You just don't get that with the published order. The Kings Daughter wrote:I protest! Hmm... I'd probably say The Voyage of the Dawn Treader.
Thanks to my Secret Santa for the set!

Definitely the Silver Chair. The Last Battle is a close second, though.

Yes, they're really good. Aslan's voice is not the best, but everyone else they got down pat. I also like how accurate and close to the book they are.Parker Family wrote:Yes, it is awesome.
