Whit's wiping down the counter, Connie's mopping the floor, and the kids are sipping on their milkshakes. If you want to talk about Adventures in Odyssey the radio drama, this is the spot to do just that!

Will you buy "Eugene Sings"

Post by EK »

Eugene's First Music Album
Eugene is so excited about his return to Odyssey that he just has to sing! Here's Eugene as you've never heard him before. For the first time ever, Eugene croons, strums, and harmonizes his way through over a dozen wonderfully original songs in his debut music release Eugene Sings! From mangy canine ballads to poignant love songs, Eugene Sings! is sure to keep the whole family laughing and singing to the melodious meanderings of Eugene Meltsner! Includes the following songs:
"Have You Ever Been to Odyssey?"
"My Dog Has Fleas!"
"I Just Met a Girl Named Katrina"
"Love One Another"
"The Moonlight, a Tuba, and You"
"I'll Never Sneeze Again"
"The Only Thing Missing is You"
"Lift Up Your Heads!"
"Play Me a Ukulele Tune"
"A Very Short Song"
"Pulchra Nympha Tu!"
"O-D-Y-Double S-E-Y!"
"The Rose of Antelope Valley"
Plus four instrumentals!
Available July 2005!

Even though the cover art makes me want to jump off a bridge, I shall make the purchase in hopes of hearing Will Ryan sing. ;)

No, I would rather buy a bunch of clothes with the money. But, if somebody would buy it for me... *Thinks of birthday coming up...*

If reasonably priced, I'd most definitely purchase Eugene's debut album. :D

I am buying "Eugene Sings". Now.

Oh wait...it isn't for sale yet. Bummer. Two months is way to long of a wait.

You can hear two of the songs here.

"Play Me a Ukulele Tune"
"The Moonlight, a Tuba, and You"

My guess is that the songs will be recorded again for the new album.

I think I will but it depends. If it ends up like the AIO computer games then I will not.

I plan on buying it! I have to grimace at the cover art, but I definitely want the CD! Some of the titles are so intriguing - I just have to find out what they're about, plus I like the songs that Will Ryan did on AIO in the past as part of the shows. This was a cool idea by somebody! I wonder who thought of it?

I wouldn't be surprised if Will Ryan himself suggested it . . . or least had a hand in the decision making. And I think this would also serve as yet another good indication he (the actor) is back for real. \:D/

I bet he signed a contract and was forced later on to do this.

I'll probably get it. What I'd like to see is a Eugene Sings that presents Eugene as the Bard of old recounting tales of his past in Odyssey and even outside of Odyssey in typical Eugene speak. Maybe on occasion he could have Bernard or Connie to accompany him in a musical recounting of an event. I think the comedic potential of this is limitless. I would actually be intrigued to buy something like that.
