I honestly don't care just as long as they aren't super cheerful. I've never really thought of it. I just remember them playing Amazing Grace at my dad's funeral and I like that. My main preferance really is that my pastor doesn't do it. I don't like his funerals :shrugs:

Sorry to quote from the first page, but this has to be the best funeral song choice I've ever seen. I want to come to your funeral. :D
"And the Lord saw that man had created the Internet, and He was most distressed. For once people started using chatspeak and improper grammar, their level of smartness was decreased by more than 500%. And so the Lord removed all the gifts he had once bestowed on man, and it was very sad." The Book of Marvin, Chapter 351, Verse 442.

I'd go with something really macabre like Fauvre's Requiem Mass in D Minor, but in the line of traditional hymns, I'd pick "How Great Thou Art".

As a random question, I saw a few people had "My Heart Will Go On". Are we talking about the (pardon) cheesy Titanic song? Or am I missing out on something with the same title? ;)

That's pretty nice Smaug, but for the first couple of measures, it was sounding like the intro to a 1940's Sherlock Holmes radio series! ;)

But regarding Faure, my current concern is to how they're going to fit the full orchestra and choir into the Church. They'd better make it work! :X

I'm not dying til I've lived my 'three score and ten' years, at least. I'd like to make 100, and I probably will. \:D/ But here are the two that I'd have, anyway. ;)

I am a big fan of AIO, but I am not Jave Griffin or have ever been on AIO. I am just a huge fan of AIO and Jimmy Barclay. I love Odyssey, and Jimmy rules.

That...is a suprisingly good song. My AMV senses are tingling. \:D/

Anyways, my list is as follows:

"For Good" from the musical Wicked. YES.
"Legacy" by Nichole Nordeman and, for a grande finale...

"Another One Bites the Dust" by Queen. :hilarious:
