I also nominate "From Justin to Kelly". I think it came out after 2000.

I could care less about the spirituality of Avatar, it's just that the "save the natives" and "save nature" thing has been done to death including Ferngully and really anything hippie related. It's just to unoriginal.

Have you guys ever seen the movie Ferngully? The plot for avatar was pretty much stolen from that. >_> Except without the crippled marine and the crazy old guy in a robo suit.
