Best Board Game Ever (Contest!)

Sorry, but the Risk of Monopolizing isn't Apples to Apples.

If there's something on your mind that just doesn't seem to fall into any of the other categories, well, it quite likely belongs inside Joe Finneman's marketplace. Think of it as a general store for general discussions!

What are your TOP 3 favorite board game?

You get seven red apple cards that have a noun on them: person, place, thing... event. Then one person picks up a green card, an adjective/verb/adverb, and everyone except the judge (the one that pulled the green card) puts in a red card that fits or doesn't fit that green card. The judge then reads and decides which card they think best fits the green card. Whoever gets their red card chosen as the winner gets the green card. They go in a circle until someone has a certain number of green cards and has won.

It's a lot of fun because you don't know what card will get picked. It can be funny, serious, or just plan out-of-this world. I got the game for my sister for Christmas. When we get a large crowd we play.

:highfive: I totally agree! It is both strategic and fun.

Say that again about chess and you'll get fish slapped. :x
Who voted chess or checkers?!

;)

But Apples to Apples is super fun! \:D/ I've played it four times, and each time the game ended before I was judge. :x

Nice, Sapphire! None of my top three (Scrabble, Settlers of Catan, Ticket to Ride) made the real top three. I do enjoy Apples to Apples; I haven't played Monopoly or Clue in ages.
