Ok, here we can talk about the really cool Warrior books by Erin Hunter.
I've read all of the books more then once (other then the newest one). I own the first 6 books.

I actually just heard about this series today because I saw one of the books in a library, but I don't know much about them. It sounds like they're good! What makes them so cool?
Hmm, good question... maybe it's cause no one has ever written a book about cats living in the wild. It is really cool how the cats live. You should read the first one, Into The Wild. http://warriorcats.com/warriorshell.htmlCatspaw wrote:I actually just heard about this series today because I saw one of the books in a library, but I don't know much about them. I'm planning to read them, but I don't really like cats by any means, so I'm not sure if I'll like them. I figured though, that if you liked Cornelia Funke's books, that the Warriors series couldn't be too bad. I think it's an interesting concept, personally.
I see. That does sound unique, and cats are interesting (in a crazy kind of way) so I can see how a good author could create a series around this premise! I'll see if I can find the first one at the library one day...if I remember.MAINE wrote:Hmm, good question... maybe it's cause no one has ever written a book about cats living in the wild. I've read them. I am unconditionally and completely in love with ShadowClan, particularly the character of Tawnypelt. I think there's a lot more to their personalities than what the Erins have given them.
"Death's got an Invisibility Cloak?" "So he can sneak up on people. Sometimes he gets bored of running at them, flapping his arms and shrieking..."
"And now the spinning. Thank you for nothing, you useless reptile."
"It unscrews the other way."
