It turned out that the cage got knocked over AGAIN last night, even though at that point it was intentional. It ended up blocking my way to and from the left wing during my melting scene so that I had to ad-lib my way through the longest melting scene EVER because I was trying to quickly figure out a way around the cage. It went well, too, however. Everyone loved my witch cackle. And I forgot to mention--don't know how I did that--that during the process of moving Oz so that the cage could be moved in, one of the crew members actually knocked it over because no one was there to help her. I remember going back there to get my hourglass for the Witch-to-Dorothy ultimatum scene and suddenly hearing this THUMP! and I was like, "Wha..." It turned out okay, though. No one was hurt.

I've decided to change my avvie to the Wicked Witch of the West until after Friday afternoon--my school is having a pep rally that day to honor those in the cast (along with those who participated in winter and spring sports teams). We've been asked to wear green that day, so I'm wearing the green eyeshadow I used in the play and a church choir T-shirt. I may also wear the red lipstick I wore, but I'm not too sure. I might get the girl who plays Glinda--who also happens to be one of my besties!--to wear her pink eye makeup.

By the way, does anyone remember what the Witch's real name was? It was given in Wicked, but I don't remember it.

So, OtR, have you seen Wicked? (The answer to that is most likely a whopping yes, because you are OtR, but I just thought I'd ask.) I want to, but we're not exactly about to drop everything and go see Broadway musicals, so yeah.

Well I love the movie but I hate the flying monkeys. I was really scared of them when I was younger.

I loved the flying monkeys! Some of my best friends played them in the play we did and one we called "Nikko," the other "General," and the other--because we didn't have a name for them from the script--was "Unnamed Minion."
