I Dream of Eugenie - Dreams About Adventures in Odyssey

Whit's wiping down the counter, Connie's mopping the floor, and the kids are sipping on their milkshakes. If you want to talk about Adventures in Odyssey the radio drama, this is the spot to do just that!

I Dream of Eugenie - Dreams About Adventures in Odyssey

I had a very creepy dream that Richard Maxwell pushed Dr. Blackgaard off a bridge into a river and he drowned. It was scaryful. :mecry:

I had a dream that Trent, Marvin, and Mandy (I always picture them as a Christian version of Harry, Ron, and Hermione) were leading this Bible study, and then later Regis Blackgaard was there chasing after everybody, using as his accomplices three (or was it four?) boys from my graduating class (names and all), all the while turning up in places disguised as my mother.

And if y'all think I'm making this up because those prank episodes were funny, I'm not. Even. Joshing. You. I had it when I was staying over at my grandma's house. Then I woke up most intrigued as to what I ate before bed that would cause such a paradox.

That would make an interesting plot for an AIO episode, though. I should write it and send it as a crack fic.

Oh.

That makes so much sense...

Any other wacky Odyssey dreams from anybody? We could turn this into the Odyssey Dream Thread...

I've had a few AIO dreams but nothing recently. There was a dream involving a young Dr. Blackgaard who apparently wasn't bad but had to be punished by being knocked against a balcony railing or something. I don't know, it didn't really make much sense. :anxious:

I love it when I start topics that I didn't start. \:D/

I dreamed about AIO last night, but I can't remember my dream. :P

Perhaps you could train yourself to write it down in your sleep!

I once had a dream where I was in the AIO world, and Eugene was running Whit's End... but it was almost exactly like normal. And Wooton was mayor.... Again, everything was almost normal. But the postal service was "lightning fast," a stwere.

I think he meant to type "as it were." Must've been typing in his sleep, head swimming with dreams of Odyssey.

A stwere is a phrase that means as it were. It comes from some derivation of English I read once, but I can't remember from where.

Hmm, a Google search of the phrase doesn't turn up any valid results. The spacing in that phrase seems unusual as well. Perhaps you aren't recalling correctly how it was spelled? :-k

Not everything online is archived by Google's search engines. Not everything is online.

So how about we just use normal words instead of pretending to be smart? \:D/

Yeah... not much good if no one understands you.

And I'm pretty sure you mean as 'twere. A stwere is not an actual phrase.
So you lost your trust,
And you never should have.
No, you never should have.
But don't break your back
If you ever see this,
But don't answer that.
In a bullet proof vest
With the windows all closed,
I'll be doing my best
I'll see you soon.

So anyway, when I used to run Frank's Breakfast Inn, I used to have all sorts of weird dreams about what people thought about FBI and how Jacob Isom secretly hated me and my site and all sorts of other weird things like that. Maybe those were my daydreams...but I can still remember having them.

In the best dream that I ever had I went to FotF in Colorado Springs, and I was walking around Whit's End looking at stuff and suddenly a bunch of people stopped me because they all recognized me (I only ever put a picture up of my hand on FBI...so that made it even weirder.) and then they started saying all sorts of nice things about the site and how much they loved it. Ah, so wonderful. That dream came true somewhat last year, except the only person from my dream who said hi to me was EugeneFan...if anyone remembers him.

Those are the AIO dreams I've had.
