I'm sure the mod (who shall remain unnamed) meant no harm and thought you would understand the reason for the merge without a PM being needed. Having two topics does seem sort of unnecessary.

I was the evildoer who merged the topic. That said, thanks to Pseudonym, everything seems to be functioning properly now, so it would appear that no lasting harm was suffered for MJ fans.
I've only heard Billie Jean (sung and danced by my brother, not MJ) so my vote will have to go there.
