Bible Memory Contest
What do I do? - Memorize the Bible, of course!
When's the deadline? - August 31st
How do I win? - Post what you've memorized (it'll be on the honors system) and whoever memorizes the most, by word count, will win.
What's the prize? - $10,000 for 1st, $3,000 for 2nd and $1,000 for 3rd (hopefully the reset won't happen before it ends)
What can I memorize? - Anything in any translation that you don't already have memorized. It doesn't have to be in the same book or anything.
How do I sign up? - Post here or PM me. There's no registration deadline or fee.

You have to post it all at once when you're done. That way, you can keep it memorized.Over the Rainbow wrote:*is entering*Little Dipper wrote:You may as well, it doesn't look like you have too much competition.Irwin Springer from Odyss wrote:Boy I wish I could memorize bible verses. I can't memorize anything though.
Can I post some here?

Well, since the cash reset is going to happen before the end of this contest, I will not have prizes to give the winners. So, I've decided to change the prize to the 1st $1,000 I earn in the new system (who knows how long that will take me) and a special sig only for the winner. And, for the drastic drop in the prize, I will split the money I have now among everyone who has signed up for use however they wish for the next few days.
I'm very sorry, but it's out of my control. They're taking away all my money!
Keep memorizing,
KBT

Is there a limit to how much we can memorize?
What format should we post them in?

I'm not quite sure what you mean by that, but it can be in any translation, if that's what you're getting at.prestoncamden11 wrote:What format should we post them in?

You're a mod. Just edit the winners' money.King Butter Turtle wrote:Well, since the cash reset is going to happen before the end of this contest, I will not have prizes to give the winners.
