I don't know about anybody else, but I'm using 2 in my slideshow that will be shown during the ceremony, 1 in the program, and all of them (about 15) in an album that will be on my table at the reception. Also, a lot of people put a senior picture in the invitations. I'm not doing that because it's not cost effective enough for my family, but a bunch of people do that. Make sense?Danielle Abigail Maxwell wrote:Why do people take Senior Pics? I don't get it....

Haha, yeah, neither do mine, but you only get to graduate from high school once, and they said it was worth it. Plus, the guy who took them goes to my church, and he gives discounts to church members. And that definitely made my parents happy.Danielle Abigail Maxwell wrote:Ah... I guess my parents dont' really go for the fancy stuff (I won't be a Senior till this coming school year anyone), but yeah, makes sense...

I guess it's because graduation is an important occasion in your life--the end of childhood and the brink of adulthood. People like to capture this moment in pictures. Also, you send the picture with the invitation to people who may not have seen you for a long time (extended family, etc.) and would appreciate an updated picture.Danielle Abigail Maxwell wrote:Why do people take Senior Pics? Senior pics don't have to be expensive. My sister took mine just around our yard and we ordered wallet prints from the photography counter.

To triple post, this account of mine can't understand either. But perhaps no one was around to take the picture!
