It's called adolesence, Eugenfan.

They never changed Jimmy's voice. His voice matured all by itself.

Another name for it would be growing up. That's what happened to Jimmy and the others mentioned. The actress that played Lucy is married and living in Europe or some place like that.

Donald Long is the name of the actor who played jack Davis. Genesis Mullen played Lucy. They knew each other outside of AIO and were married in 1993. There is a blurb about it on page 57 of the Complete Guide.
