A woman's heart should be so hidden in Christ that a man would have to seek Him to find her.

This is a very nice episode. I really liked the songs, especially Wooton's songs. That was great! Of course, Eugene's songs were awesome, too. And I loved Harlow Doyle's "I'm dead!" song. Cryin' Brian Dern was cool, I always liked him. I love his one line "Were you singing, or were you trying to hail a cab in rhinoceros language?" Bart Rathbone has always cracked me up, as well. The rest of the show was ok, but not like the best I've ever heard. 4/5 stars

I gave it three... it wasn't as bad as I thought, but it definitely could have been better.
I did find it amusing, though, that Corey Burton was talking to himself.

My Thoughts:
1. Tamika has an unbiblical view, and Whit sets her straight. Typical Odyssey, good Odyssey.
2. Ms. Kendall does have a spunky personality, but I wish Connie wouldn’t exploit herself so much!
3. Good use of a wide range of characters: Dern, Shakespeare, Bart, Harlow, Wooton, Tamika, Connie, Eugene, Whit, etc.
4. I especially enjoyed hearing from Dern; I like his distinctive voice and character. And the quacker.
5. I liked Eugene’s humble attitude throughout the episode; it was very refreshing.
6. Good for the Odyssey team, addressing not just American Idol, but also the attitude that comes with it, the attitude that says one’s worth is found in man’s judgment.
7. Odyssey Sings is an overall enjoyable episode, one that made me smile, one where I was excited to listen to it a second time, and also one with a good lesson I will remember. It was solid, but nothing jumped out at me screaming “Five!” Ergo, I give it four stars.

I was pleasantly surprised with the content in "Odyssey Sings."
Losely modeled (or spoofed) after the Idol show, the episode was nicely interspersed with musical tunes ...without turning the whole thing into a karaoke debacle.
Loved the humor.
"I would have quacked you after ONE note, but my duck malfunctioned." --Bryan Dern
"You have as much talent as the four-sliced toaster that are on sale for $14.99 at the Electric Palace." --Bart Rathbone
"Incredible! My ears haven't hurt this bad since my head got stuck in the elevator door." --Bryan Dern
