If it was a RPG it should be moved. But it isn't. This game falls into the category of Werewolf and the other games of this genre. Even if prizes weren't given out, this would still belong in this sub-forum.

You run for mayor and everyone in the game votes for the mayor.

The mayor then appoints two police officers and pms them to me.

But you don't know if the mayor is mafia or not. The rule with that is that the police officer can't be mafia but other than that there's nobody we can trust....

Do you know anyone else interested in joining?

I just want to point something out. Lets say the Mayor picks a mafia member for police, since they could not be police then you would have to tell the mayor to pick someone else giving the citizens a major advantage of knowing who the mafia is.

No the Mayor can't pick Mafia members I worked around that.

Yes the mayor can be killed but a new one must be voted into office while new police officers can't be appointed....

I wonder if anybody else will join....

I hereby announce that I will be participating in Mafia....

However I will know all the info so if I am assinated first I totally understand.

New element Mafia can issue "death threats" to other citizens to threaten them and they can bribe Mayors with ToO bucks stuff like that it should be really fun! $\:D/$

Why don't you have the Mayor pick out the officers before appointed the mafias and such?

O and it also might be good to issue a no-pming thing so that people won't pm each other about the game. Although I believer the Tooers are very honest!

And can Mafias vote for other mafias?

Yes mafia's can do whatever they like, vote for another mafia member out, vote for a mafia for mayor.

I think that people should be able to pm but once you are assasinated you shouldn't be able to pm at all.

I'll join! I love Mafia!

I hereby toss in my candidacy for mayor.

As mayor I will run an honest campaign and run an endless war against Mafia. I will work closely with my police and try to discern who the doctor is to recruit him to my side.

I will not except bribes or anything of the sort and I will do my best to serve others.

Unfortunately, JED is unable to complete this game, so it will have to die, unless somebody else is interested in taking over running it.
