Odyssey at church

Whit's wiping down the counter, Connie's mopping the floor, and the kids are sipping on their milkshakes. If you want to talk about Adventures in Odyssey the radio drama, this is the spot to do just that!

Sorry can't remember all the time but in Sabbath School we went over why bad things happen to good people and the names of God.

The Sermon was prophesy and I highly doubt AIO has any episodes based on Adventist Scripture. :D
Sorry *cracks up laughing* LOL!... yeah, I totally agree that AIO wouldn't have anything on what Adventist's believe... ha! They even say Sunday school and such... Prophesy? Dude, it seems my pastor and assistant pastor have been talking about that A LOT lately. Especially the Assistant Pastor. Hmm... weird.

Yeah! Ever since Obama won all they talk about is the Anti-Christ and prophecy!

I mean what's up with that! :-k

I think I have heard enough Prophecy in all my churches for me to recite all the Adventist prophecy back to you with my eyes closed

I would prefer you to say that with your eyes open: closed eyes while reciting prophecy is against my religion. JK.

I believe he said "Just Kidding"... :anxious:

Though, reciting Adventist prophecy, eyes closed, open, or winking is against my religion. :noway:

Yeah, I think they are.

(Top has a history of... critisizing Adventists. Way back when... and now)

Just ignore them. I have learned in Romans that we are to respect others, and be firm in our own convictions. Meaning: what we believe is what we believe. What they believe is what they believe. We respect them they respect us. Have firm hold on what you believe. In the end, God will judge us on our relationship with him, not our religion.

So....

Oh you two have got to be kidding me! Look at KODY's post--JK means just kidding. They were joking, they weren't serious, they weren't making fun of you guys. Lighten up some.

..The first thing everyone should learn about Top is to NEVER take what he says seriously. Well, I'm sure there's an occasional serious post here and there, but as a general rule.. :noway:

And KODY was joking.

Wait. I basically just repeated Jonathan. \:D/

Aaaand, I can't think of anything to add to the original topic, but everyone get back on topic or I'll lock this thread! :x

(You know, maybe I shouldn't be joking here.. >_>)

Church--"The Pretty Good Samaritan" (the sermon was on the 10 lepers, and only one of them returned to thank Jesus)

Sunday School--"The Day After Christmas" because we talked about helping people for Christmas, and "Where's Your Daddy" because we talked about Angel Tree (though it was The Salvation Army's Angel Tree and not Prison Fellowship)
"Your days, at the most, cannot be long. It would be best to use them for the glory of God and the benefit of your generation."
