What do you call...

your opinion

If there's something on your mind that just doesn't seem to fall into any of the other categories, well, it quite likely belongs inside Joe Finneman's marketplace. Think of it as a general store for general discussions!

What do you called the device that is used with a television?

It's only ever been the remote for me. I've never heard it called a clicker.

Remote, but I have called it the clicker before. I think "the stick" is another common one in our family.

Maybe it's not just the Canadians but you young folk that haven't heard "clicker." I remember the 70s TV that was in my parents' room as a kid. It was a clicker. It only had two buttons that tilted see-saw like; one was for channel and the other for volume. Not even a power button that I can recall. \:D/

I call it the "remote" or "remote control." But my parents sometimes call it the "clicker." :p
